I would have taken a leave and join the interfaith rally on Friday. For to be silent in the face of rampant corruption and abuse of power would be deafening. Some might call the rally "destabilizing". But it is better to be uncomfortable and inconvenienced rather than live under a superficial atmosphere of stability. The nation is sick- we cannot be silent. As I monitor the news tomorrow, my prayers will go with you, my fellow marchers. Surely, God will not mind receiving a prayer coming from Tokyo in solidarity with the prayers that will rise from Makati City tomorrow.
